Who I am

This site (lettingagentcontractor.co.uk) is operated by Glyn Thomas, working as an individual data controller in the UK. I'm a working maintenance contractor building a job management app for other contractors who work with letting agents, and this site is the pre-launch waitlist and research survey for it.

What I collect

When you use the calculator on the homepage

I log the slider values you choose (agencies, jobs per week, minutes per job, hourly rate) along with a randomly-generated session ID stored in your browser's session storage. The session ID lets me group multiple slider movements from the same browsing session together so I can see how people explore the calculator.

I don't deliberately collect your IP address, your name, or any contact details when you use the calculator. (Vercel and Supabase, the companies that host this site, may keep standard server access logs that include IP addresses for security and operational reasons — that's standard for any website you visit, and those logs are governed by their own retention policies.)

Session storage clears automatically when you close your browser tab.

When you complete the survey

The survey is hosted on Tally (tally.so) and asks up to 9 questions about your work as a contractor, including your email address. Tally stores your responses on their servers, and I receive a copy via a webhook which is stored in my database.

I also keep a count of how many people have completed the survey, so the page can show “X of 50 founding spots left.”

That's all I collect. No analytics. No advertising trackers. No cookies set by this site.

Why I collect it (lawful basis)

Slider activity— legitimate interest. The data is pseudonymous (a session ID can't identify you on its own) and I use it only to understand which combinations people explore, to inform what I build. You can object to this processing at any time (see “Your rights” below).

Survey responses— your consent, given by submitting the form. I'll use your email to contact you when the app launches and your survey answers to inform what I build. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing me to ask for deletion.

Who handles your data on my behalf

Three companies, each acting as a data processor under contract:

• Vercel — hosting. Serves the page to your browser. (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy)
• Supabase — database, hosted in eu-west-2 (London, UK). Stores slider events, the founding-spot count, and the webhook copy of survey submissions. (supabase.com/privacy)
• Tally — survey hosting. Stores your survey responses including your email. (tally.so/help/privacy-policy)

I don't sell, rent, or share your data with anyone else.

Where your data is held

Supabase data is held in the United Kingdom (London region). Vercel is a US-headquartered company; some request handling may involve transfer to the United States, governed by the standard contractual clauses in their data processing agreement. For Tally's data location, see their privacy policy linked above.

How long I keep it

• Slider events: up to 12 months from your last interaction, then deleted.
• Survey responses (in my database):until 12 months after the app launches publicly, after which I'll delete responses from anyone who hasn't become a customer.
• Webhook event records: up to 24 months for operational and audit purposes.

Tally retains your responses according to their own policy. You can ask me to delete your data sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Ask what data I hold about you (subject access request)
• Ask me to correct it if it's wrong
• Ask me to delete it
• Object to my processing of it
• Ask for it in a portable format
• Withdraw your consent at any time

Email admin@nurtureproperty.comand I'll respond within 30 days. You don't need to give a reason.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and storage

This site does not set any cookies of its own. It uses session storage (a similar browser feature) to hold a random session ID for the calculator analytics described above. Session storage clears when you close the tab.

Tally and Vercel may set their own cookies for technical operation — see their policies above.

Changes to this policy

If I make material changes I'll update the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
